Writing under the pen name Vallanadan, he has spent decades cultivating a literary voice as comfortable with the crash of ocean waves as with the hush of a bird on a winter branch. His poetry — gathered across collections from Sool Konda Megam to the landmark 2026 collection — moves through grief, wonder, longing, and the particular beauty of things on the edge of disappearing.
He is also a thinker. Maraikkapatta Parppanargal enters the contested terrain of caste with a scholar's care. Thiravaga Thaen distills wisdom into micro-poetry.
